Patrick began his formal education at the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar.  Attending the University on an Air Force ROTC scholarship in business, he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance at the renowned McIntire School of Commerce.  After his undergraduate education, Patrick received an educational delay from the Air Force to attend law school.  He immediately entered the University of Virginia law school, one of the top-ranked law schools in the country.  Upon graduation, he entered the Air Force, not only as a result of his scholarship, but also as part of his commitment to service to country.

Patrick began his legal career in the United States Air Force as a Judge Advocate (JAG), at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia.  He served in various specialties but most notably as a criminal prosecutor at Moody AFB, and then at Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina, two Air Combat Command bases.  After these positions, he proceeded to serve as a criminal defense counsel, litigating the most serious of crimes throughout the eastern United States, and achieving a distinguished acquittal record.  Please see the "Criminal Defense" page of this website for a broader description of Patrick's criminal litigation background by clicking the icon to the left.

After his service in the Air Force, and before opening The Neighbors Law Firm, Patrick worked as a civil litigation attorney in medical malpractice defense.  He gained valuable skills and litigation experience in the areas of childbirth injuries, surgical errors, misdiagnoses, failure to appropriately treat fatal diseases, products liability, and catastrophic personal injury.

Patrick has strong ties to the community. He continues to serve in the Air Force Reserve as a Judge Advocate, and has performed several tours during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Patrick is married to Carol Neighbors, a private consultant for children with autism.  Email Patrick!
